• Experience working as a Paraprofessional or in a similar role within school settings
• Proven ability to build trusting relationships with elementary-aged students
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work on-site at RH Dana ES in Dana Point
• Appropriate licensure/certification as required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 assistance to assigned students, supporting their academic and personal development
• Assisting classroom teachers with adapting lessons and managing classroom activities
• Helping students with tasks ranging from instructional support to mobility and behavior management
• Encouraging social skills, independence, and participation in classroom activities
• Collaborating with educators, staff, and family members to ensure the best outcomes for each student
• Maintaining documentation and communication regarding student progress and observations

This role is a full-time, on-site position, running from as soon as possible through early June 2027, Monday through Friday. The contract offers a stable assignment supporting an inspiring community of students and educators.
