Teacher's Aide - West Warwick, Rhode Island

Preferred Qualifications:

• Paraprofessional experience in a school setting
• Familiarity with supporting students with varying disabilities
• Must meet Rhode Island Department of Education requirements for Paraprofessionals
• Ability to assist with toileting and diaper changes as needed
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Compassion, patience, and clear communication skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily classroom activities for students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade
• Work closely with other Teacher Assistants to maintain a safe, inclusive, and organized classroom
• Support academic and behavioral goals as guided by lead teachers and specialists
• Provide care and assistance with personal hygiene tasks for students
• Adapt to the needs of both individual students and the collective classroom environment
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and respectful atmosphere

In this onsite position, you'll engage directly with students and colleagues, contributing to a truly dynamic and impactful educational setting. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule for approximately 31.25 hours per week, running through June 18, 2027.
