Available assignments span elementary, middle, and high schools, with full-time guaranteed hours during school weeks.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Delaware Paraeducator Permit requiredmust be obtained prior to start.
• Successful candidates must agree to obtain $85 CBC fingerprinting.
• Adaptability to float between assigned schools as needed within the district.
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in an educational support role is strongly preferred.
• Excellent reliability and a flexible approach to scheduling and changing needs.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with educators and students.
• If credentialed as an RBT, outside BCBA supervision is required to maintain certification.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as assigned.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities, instruction, and behavioral management.
• Travel as a floater to various school locations within the district, supporting coverage needs due to staff absences or increased demand.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Support students social-emotional, behavioral, and academic needs throughout the day.
