What Youll Need:

• Valid DE Paraeducator Permit in hand; pending permits must be supported by a DEEDS portal screenshot
• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Ability to commit to full-time, onsite hours (Monday through Friday, 35 hours each week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Willingness to complete all required onboarding, including an $85 CBC fingerprinting, TB test, and Child Protective Registry Check
• Completion of the districts contractor packet prior to the start date (review process may take up to five business days)
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• If certified as an RBT, candidates must secure BCBA supervision outside of school hours, as supervision on site is not available

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers and students with daily academic, social, and behavioral tasks
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
• Assist in implementing educational and behavioral strategies under teacher direction
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
