Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment preferred
• Comfort and flexibility assisting with toileting and personal care
• Ability to support academic needs and adapt to various instructional settings
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with students with autism or those who are nonverbal is a plus

Role Overview & Responsibilities:

• Middle School: Serve as a 1:1 paraprofessional with an 8th-grade student who is autistic and nonverbal. Provide personal care and academic support, fostering engagement and promoting independence. Hours: 8:30 AM3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (32.5 hours/week).
• High School: Work with a small group of students with IEPs who are part of the general education population. Provide both group and individualized support, collaborating with teachers and other staff. Hours: 8:40 AM3:33 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (32.5 hours/week).
• Assignment runs from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027.
