Job Overview:
Join our team as a School-based Paraprofessional in Westmont, Illinois. As a valued member of our Special Education department, you will provide essential support, creating an inclusive learning environment.
Location: Yreka, California
Start/End: ASAP to August 2025 to May/June 2026
Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support assisting in the supervision, care and instruction of special needs students
- Assisting in implementing plans for instruction
- Monitoring student behavior during non-classroom time
- Providing information to appropriate school personnel; and attending IEP meetings
Requirements:
- Candidates must have California credentials in hand before interviews can be scheduled:
- FBI background check
- current fingerprints
- Active Sub or PARA cert
Para must be highly qualified before one of these methods before being presented to district.
