School-Based Physical Therapist - Ballwin, Missouri

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting early learners as a Physical Therapist at two schools serving PreK children. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping young students develop essential physical skills during a crucial time in their education. This contract position offers a three-day workweek (totaling 22.5 hours), with the option to consistently choose your preferred days. There is potential to expand to a four-day schedule after January, offering greater flexibility as the school year progresses.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Missouri Physical Therapy license
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings is preferred
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and intervention strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
• Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to varying school needs
• Must complete district fingerprinting (provide TCN number)
• Comfortable with district technology requirements and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver PT services to early childhood/pre-kindergarten students across two school campuses
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans targeting gross motor skills, mobility, and increased independence
• Participate actively in IEP/IFSP meetings and engage in multidisciplinary collaboration
• Document student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
• Provide education and support to teachers and families to help students integrate therapy goals into daily routines
• Travel between two nearby schools as needed for direct service delivery
