Physical Therapist – Durham, NC

About the Position
A school district in Durham, NC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join their special education and student support team. The PT will work with students to improve mobility, motor skills, and overall physical development to support academic and social success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations to assess student needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide direct PT services and monitor student progress

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers

• Document services and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy

• Active North Carolina PT license

• Prior school-based experience preferred

• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Local Candidates (Hourly Pay): $38 - $43 per hour

• Travel Candidates (Weekly Take-Home Pay, if applicable): $1505 weekly
