Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Physical Therapists for a full-time, school-based contract position in Issaquah, Washington. This opportunity is for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, running from July 2 through August 1, 2025.

We are seeking professionals who are committed to student growth and well-being, particularly those with experience working with special education students and their families. This role plays a critical part in helping students improve mobility, strength, and independence to support their success in an educational setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ motor development and physical therapy needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with each student’s plan

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals

• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions and planning

• Educate staff on appropriate physical accommodations and mobility strategies for students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a school-based setting

• Strong understanding of special education services and supports

• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Requirements:

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Washington

• Must meet all state and local requirements for school-based physical therapy services

• Availability for the full duration of the contract (07/02/25 – 08/01/25)
