Details:
- Location: Issaquah, WA
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Elementary, Middle and High School grades, conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.
Applicants must meet the following local and state qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid Washington State Physical Therapist License
- Hold or be eligible for an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate in Physical Therapy through the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' physical abilities and mobility needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to promote student access to learning
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records as required by state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
