Physical Therapist - School Setting in Lexington Park, MD

Key Qualifications:

• Maryland Physical Therapist license (active and in good standing)
• Experience working with infants and toddlers, preferably in a school or early intervention setting
• Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy assessment and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary team members
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload and independently prioritize workload

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for children birth to age three as part of early intervention programming
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support each childs physical development and participation in daily activities
• Work closely with families, educators, and service coordinators to ensure collaborative care
• Maintain clear documentation and progress records, adhering to all compliance and regulatory requirements
• Participate in team meetings, contributing expertise to help shape goals and interventions
• Empower caregivers with guidance, support, and training to continue therapy strategies at home
