School Physical Therapist | Littleton, North Carolina

Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students by providing exceptional physical therapy services in a supportive, school-based environment. Engage with a diverse caseload and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their fullest potential. This part-time contract position (35 hours weekly) is available immediately through early June 2027, offering flexibility and opportunities for both onsite and VOCO (virtual/remote) work arrangements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is desirable
• Skilled in both direct therapy and indirect consultation for K-12 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective team participation
• Competence in conducting assessments and contributing to IEP development
• Able to balance tasks in a hybrid (VOCO/onsite) environment as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments and direct physical therapy sessions with a 1:0.5 direct to indirect service ratio according to DPI expectations
• Support students with individualized interventions tailored to their IEP goals
• Deliver consultative services for teachers, families, and other team members
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team discussions and IEP meetings
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and district requirements
