This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through July 1, 2027, providing stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a public school setting. The position is based out of a district office and offers a regular full-time schedule.

Qualifications and Desired Background:

  • Current Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) License required
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, or early childhood populations strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy evaluation techniques and intervention planning
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
  • Ability to document evaluations, progress, and services accurately and timely

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to infants and toddlers according to individualized plans
  • Assess developmental needs and design therapy interventions for optimal student outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and allied health professionals to support student growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to help young children meet motor milestones
  • Maintain thorough records of therapy provided and track student progress
  • Participate in team meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional development
