School-Based Physical Therapist - Media, Pennsylvania

This full-time role is perfect for an experienced Physical Therapist who is eager to make an impact with a small, focused caseload, supporting learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID). Youll join a collaborative onsite team, working 35 hours weekly through June 10, 2027, providing personalized interventions and support for students in need.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license or certification required
• Proven experience in a school-based environment
• Previous work with K-12 students, especially those with ASD and ID
• Familiarity with the dynamics of an urban school
• Willingness to undergo required PA clearances
• Ability to provide licensure documentation prior to interview
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Comfortable participating in Zoom interviews

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services for a K-12 caseload
• Engage regularly with teachers, aides, and other specialists to ensure student progress
• Develop and implement therapy plans in alignment with students IEPs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
• Support and educate staff and families regarding therapy and accessibility strategies
• Collaborate on proactive solutions to foster inclusive, successful learning environments
