What You’ll Be Doing

As a school-based Physical Therapist in Niceville, you’ll play a key role in helping students improve motor function and physical independence within the educational environment. You’ll assess physical needs, create tailored therapy plans aligned with IEPs, and provide direct intervention services to support students’ success in the classroom. Your work will be collaborative and student-centered, involving close communication with teachers, families, and other support staff to ensure every student receives the tools they need to thrive.

Qualifications and Licensure

Candidates must hold an active Florida Physical Therapy license and have completed a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy is preferred. Candidates must also meet all district and state background clearance requirements and have a solid understanding of IEP development and service documentation.
