School Physical Therapist | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact supporting students physical development in an engaging K12 setting! This full-time onsite contract opportunity, located near Philadelphia, offers the chance to work in a dynamic school environment with a small manageable caseload. Youll provide essential physical therapy services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID), creating individualized care plans that enable each child to thrive.

With a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, youll collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and participate actively within a supportive urban school community. The assignment runs until June 10, 2027, providing valuable stability and the chance to build long-term relationships with your students. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom for your convenience.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license/certification (active and in good standing)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting
• Ability and willingness to work onsite with a K12 caseload
• Experience supporting students with ASD and ID preferred
• Comfortable working in an urban educational environment
• Willing to obtain all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Enthusiastic about disclosing district details and collaborating closely with school staff
• Ready to provide current licensure documentation when requested

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, design, and implement therapy plans for students with diverse physical needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to maximize student participation
• Conduct direct therapy sessions, assessments, and progress evaluations
• Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation as required
