School-Based Physical Therapist - Richmond, Texas

Step into an impactful role supporting students physical well-being in a dynamic Houston-area school district! This full-time, contract position calls for a skilled Physical Therapist (or highly experienced PTA) to serve a diverse caseload of K12 students, making a real difference across 50 campuses.

Your workweek runs 37.5 hours, with flexibility between common school start/finish times. Begin your day at the district office home base and travel to schools as needed, collaborating with another PT to serve approximately 160 students50 of whom require direct services. Your responsibilities will involve case management, documentation in Frontline and SuccessEd, and working with students and staff to enhance access, participation, and function within the educational environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Current Texas Physical Therapy license (PT or PTA)
• Experience in school settings strongly preferred; pediatric background highly valued
• Proficient with required school documentation platforms or willingness to learn
• Capable of independently managing multiple campuses
• Must have completed, or be willing to complete, required state and district fingerprint/background checks
• Candidates who are former employees of the district or who have been terminated from any school district are not eligible (disclosure required via affidavit)
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, direct services, and consultative support for K12 students with diverse needs
• Document services and progress in required systems
• Collaborate with educators and families to implement IEP-related goals
• Travel between schools with mileage between sites as part of your routine (district office available as base)
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and credentialing requirements
