Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Physical Therapists (PTs) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Riverside, California area. We are looking for experienced professionals who are committed to helping students achieve their physical development goals in an educational environment.


Position Details:

  • Location: Riverside, CA and surrounding school districts

  • Type: Full-Time, Contracted

  • Start Date: Immediate

  • Contract Renewal: Based on performance and district needs


Required Qualifications:
To be considered, applicants must meet all state and local requirements, including:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist License (issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California)

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate)

  • California Department of Education (CDE) Certification or eligibility for a Pupil Personnel Services Credential or related special services credential (if required by district)

  • Pediatric or school-based experience preferred

  • Current CPR certification

  • Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting as required by California law and the local school district


Typical Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEPs

  • Provide direct therapy services to students with physical impairments

  • Monitor and document student progress toward physical therapy goals

  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and needs

  • Educate school staff on mobility and accessibility accommodations
