Physical Therapist - School Setting in Romeoville, IL

Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT)
• Active Illinois Physical Therapy License
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
• Comfortable working autonomously and traveling between nearby school campuses
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, paraprofessionals, and families
• Ability to adapt to varying school hours, with start times between 7:308:30 am

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students from elementary through transition programs
• Support caseloads of 35-45 students across general education and self-contained settings
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions tailored to individual student needs
• Train staff and students in safe use of positioning and mobility equipment
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including daily notes, progress reports, and goal updates
• Collaborate closely with the educational team to maximize students participation and physical independence
