Physical Therapist - School Setting in Saint Louis, MO

Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting early childhood learners as a Physical Therapist, working on-site with two schools in the St. Louis area. This contract position is perfect for those passionate about helping PreK students achieve their mobility and developmental milestones.

Youll have approximately 22.5 hours per week over three consistent weekdays of your choice, with the possibility of expanding to four days after January. This flexibility allows for a great work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in an Early Childhood Program.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Experience in school-based physical therapy or with pediatric populations, especially early childhood, strongly preferred
• Ability to complete all district credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and submitting a TCN number
• Comfortable with basic technology and able to submit a signed technology use form
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively alongside teachers and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to PreK students within designated schools
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
• Track student progress and complete timely, accurate documentation
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams for case reviews and planning
• Educate staff and families on techniques to support student achievement outside therapy sessions
• Adapt interventions to diverse early childhood needs, ensuring an inclusive, nurturing environment
