Physical Therapist - School Setting in Saint Peters, MO

Put your expertise as a Physical Therapist to work supporting young learners in the St. Louis area! We're seeking a dedicated PT for a contract role serving an early childhood program across two schools. This on-site position allows you to make a measurable difference in the lives of PreK students while enjoying a flexible, part-time schedule.

As the Physical Therapist for these vibrant learning communities, youll collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to help children reach their developmental milestones. With classes scheduled Monday through Thursday, youll select three consistent days each week to provide services (with a possible expansion to a fourth day later in the assignment). This role offers approximately 22.5 hours per week and provides the meaningful opportunity to focus on early intervention within an engaged, supportive setting.

What were seeking:

• Current, active Missouri PT license
• Experience or passion for working with early childhood/preK populations
• Availability to work on-site three days weekly at two local schools; schedule must be consistent
• Willingness to complete all district credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and required district forms in a timely manner
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions for PreK students, supporting their mobility, motor development, and participation in classroom activities
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Document services per district and compliance standards
• Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic recommendations into daily routines
• Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings as needed
