Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Seattle, WA area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support students in achieving greater physical independence and academic success through school-based therapy services.


Position Overview:

  • Location: Seattle, Washington

  • Position Type: Full-time

  • Contract Term: 2025-2026 school year with renewal based on performance

  • Work Setting: Onsite in local public schools


Required Qualifications:

All applicants must meet the following local and state certification requirements:

  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

  • Active Washington State Physical Therapist License issued by the Washington State Department of Health

  • Must meet all requirements for working in public schools, including fingerprinting and background checks

  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred

  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and IDEA compliance


Typical Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students with physical disabilities to assess mobility, balance, coordination, and functional needs

  • Develop and implement treatment plans and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals

  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services in school environments

  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes

  • Maintain detailed documentation on student progress and therapy sessions

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in mobility and physical function

  • Ensure services comply with district policies, state guidelines, and federal regulations
