Physical Therapist - School Setting in Somerville, MA

The role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 15, 2027, with on-site hours totaling 30 each week. Work with a diverse caseload primarily focused on preschool students, with some elementary responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid, active physical therapy license/certification in Massachusetts
• Prior experience working in a school environment (required)
• Strong clinical skills with a passion for supporting early learners
• Current CORI and fingerprinting, or willingness to complete both
• Priority given to candidates who are fully credentialed
• Comfort working onsite within a collaborative school-based team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to preschool and elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
• Evaluate and document students progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and IEP teams to create student-centered plans that support physical growth and functional participation in the school setting
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute best-practice insights for optimizing students school experience
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and school standards
