Special Education Setting - PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) Job

Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Schedule: Full-time, following the academic calendar
Pay: Starting at $33 per hour

Blazer Jobs is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the supervision of a licensed PT in a local school district in Virginia Beach, VA. This position supports students with mobility or physical challenges and helps implement individualized therapy plans to improve functional access in the school setting.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in executing physical therapy treatment plans

• Document student progress and update records

• Work closely with PTs, educators, and families

• Support physical development goals within IEP frameworks

Qualifications for Virginia:

• Current PTA license in Virginia

• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based populations is helpful

• Must meet district employment screening criteria
