School-Based Physical Therapist - West Chester, Pennsylvania

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for students with low incidence disabilities
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to therapy

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to school-aged students, primarily at the Marple Education Center
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized plans based on student needs and IEP goals
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to foster student engagement and participation
• Consult and collaborate with educational team members regarding best practices
• Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to the IEP process
• Educate staff and families on strategies to promote movement, safety, and independence
