Physical Therapist - School Setting in Worcester, MA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting preschool and elementary students as a school-based Physical Therapist. This full-time role offers meaningful work onsite near Worcester, MA, with a 30-hour weekly schedule and immediate start. The current assignment will run through June 15, 2027, with the possibility of contract extension if a permanent hire is not made internally. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Massachusetts state license/certification in Physical Therapy (credentials required)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting (mandatory)
• Familiarity with early childhood and elementary populations
• Ability to participate in the CORI background check and fingerprinting process
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to preschool and some elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions that support students motor development, functional mobility, and participation in school routines
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies in the classroom and home environments
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school district and state standards
• Attend/contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions
