Requirements:
Must hold a valid California Physical Therapist license
Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements for practicing in a school setting
Previous experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ gross motor skills and physical development
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input regarding student needs
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
Educate school personnel and parents on proper techniques to support student mobility and safety
Compensation & Benefits:
Weekly direct deposit, pay starting at $55-$60 per hour
