School Based Physical Therapist (PT) Needed

Job Opening: Full-Time School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) – Vallejo, CA

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Physical Therapist for a full-time, contract position in a school district located in Vallejo, California. Position Overview:

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid California Physical Therapist license

• Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements for practicing in a school setting

• Previous experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ gross motor skills and physical development

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals

• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input regarding student needs

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

• Educate school personnel and parents on proper techniques to support student mobility and safety

Compensation & Benefits:

• Weekly direct deposit, pay starting at $55-$60 per hour
