Full-Time School-Based Physical Therapist Assistant – Covington, GA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Covington, Georgia area. This position provides an opportunity to support students in reaching their mobility and developmental goals under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Location: Covington, GA
Schedule: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Renewal: Based on performance and district needs

Requirements:

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist Assistant license issued by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (CAPTE-accredited)

• Current CPR certification

• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting as required by local school districts

• Preferred experience in pediatric or school-based therapy settings

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed PT

• Provide direct services to students to improve physical function and participation in school activities

• Maintain accurate documentation and student progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements

• Assist with mobility training, positioning, and adaptive equipment usage

• Collaborate with educational teams and families to support student IEP goals

• Ensure safe and effective therapy practices within the school environment
