Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time, school-based contract opportunity in Desoto, Texas. This position involves supporting students with physical and developmental needs by implementing therapy plans in collaboration with a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications Required:
• Associate’s degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Texas PTA license issued by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
• Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement physical therapy programs as developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Support students in improving mobility, motor skills, and physical functioning in an educational setting
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to promote functional outcomes for students
• Document progress and communicate with the Physical Therapist and IEP team
• Follow all district, state, and federal guidelines related to therapy services
