Physical Therapist Assistant - Madison, TN

In this contract opportunity based near Madison, TN, you will be an essential partner to a district Physical Therapist, providing direct therapy services and supporting students development and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions to students as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to help students achieve therapy goals
• Encourage mobility, functional independence, and participation in the academic setting
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and student progress, meeting district and program standards
• Communicate and collaborate with the supervising PT, teachers, school staff, special education teams, and other service providers
• Travel regularly between several schools within the district to provide needed services
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and related activities as requested

Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred, though not required
• Valid drivers license and dependable transportation for frequent travel between locations
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Strong adaptability and initiative in a fast-paced, student-focused environment
