Physical Therapist Assistant in Millers Creek, NC

Collaborate with educators and allied professionals to provide essential therapeutic services designed to enhance student mobility, physical development, and academic participation.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina PTA license required
• Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to develop and implement therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed PT
• Strong communication skills for engaging with students, teachers, and families
• Organizational skills to document interventions and progress clearly and accurately
• Enthusiastic, approachable, and adaptable in a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering physical therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success
• Conduct assessments and help create individualized treatment plans
• Document progress, therapy sessions, and outcomes per school and legal standards
• Provide guidance and education to school staff, students, and families
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
