Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Yuma, AZ area. This is a rewarding school-based role for professionals who are passionate about supporting students' physical development and mobility in educational environments.

Position Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Arizona state and local requirements, including:

• Active Arizona PTA License issued by the Arizona Board of Physical Therapy

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Supervision by a licensed Physical Therapist as required by state law

• Current CPR certification

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance through the Arizona Department of Public Safety

• School-based experience preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Provide physical therapy support to students with developmental, orthopedic, or neurological conditions

• Assist students in developing strength, coordination, balance, and functional mobility

• Maintain accurate records and progress notes

• Collaborate with school staff, families, and special education teams

• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary planning when appropriate
