Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join a general education school team in Atlanta, GA for the 2025–2026 academic year. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support K–12 students in implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and promoting positive behavioral development in the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision

  • Collect and record accurate behavioral data daily

  • Support students in classrooms, common areas, and other school settings

  • Provide one-on-one or small group behavior support

  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and other support personnel

  • Assist in training school staff on basic behavioral strategies when needed

  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Qualifications:

  • Active RBT certification through the BACB

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or related field preferred

  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families

  • Must meet local school district requirements including background check and health screenings

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with students on the autism spectrum or with emotional/behavioral disorders

  • Crisis intervention training (CPI, PCM, etc.) is a plus

  • Bilingual proficiency is a bonus, though not required
