Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Media, Pennsylvania

Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician within a dynamic school district near Media, PA. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 10, 2027, with 35 hours scheduled each week. There are five positions available across two sites, each catering to students with unique needs.

Opportunities are available in the following settings:

• Chester Upland School of Arts (3 openings): Assist in an Autistic Support classroom for K-2 students, requiring adaptability and a passion for making a positive impact.
• Toby Farms Middle School (2 openings): Male candidates are encouraged, with positions designed to address the specific support needs of the site.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification; ability to maintain certification independently, as onsite supervision may not be available
• Prior school-based experience, specifically supporting special education and behaviorally challenged students
• Reliable transportation is essential
• References and valid PA clearances (or ability to obtain)
• Comfortable adapting to evolving classroom needs and urban school environments
• Male RBTs only for the Toby Farms Middle School placements
• No paraprofessionals will be considered; RBT certification is required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct behavioral interventions to assigned students
• Support classroom teams, collaborating closely with teachers and staff
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations
