Registered Behavior Technician in New Market, MD

Step into an impactful, hands-on role providing behavioral support in welcoming elementary schools. Two full-time positions are available, both supporting students in Frederick County within a collaborative school environment. Youll have the chance to make a significant difference for young learners, working with diverse elementary-aged students through meaningful, individualized engagement.

These contract roles are based at Butterfly Ridge Elementary and Orchard Grove Elementary, each offering unique opportunities:

• At Butterfly Ridge, youll provide broad school and crisis support to students from Pre-K through 5th grade, addressing multiple needs across classrooms.
• At Orchard Grove, your work will center on student-specific interventions within the Learning for Life Program, ensuring tailored guidance in an inclusive setting.

Positions start as soon as possible and are anticipated to continue through mid-November, with potential for extension based on school needs.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience supporting children or youth in school or clinical settings preferred
• Ability to remain calm and focused during crisis situations
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Enthusiasm for fostering an encouraging, growth-focused environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans and provide direct, student-centered support
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and school teams
• Track progress and maintain thorough documentation
• Support students in developing coping, social, and academic skills
