Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Newark, Delaware

An exciting opportunity awaits for a passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support elementary-aged students in an engaging Autism Program. This full-time contract position requires a collaborative professional committed to making a real difference in student lives. Youll play an integral role within a school team, delivering essential behavioral support and assisting wherever needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (required)
• Active Delaware PARA Permit (required)
• Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
• Demonstrated ability to implement physical intervention strategies with students, when appropriate
• Experience collecting and interpreting behavioral and instructional data in a classroom environment
• Willingness to provide bathroom and personal hygiene assistance (toileting, diapering, wiping, etc.)
• Full commitment to working scheduled hours on-site daily; punctuality and reliability are essential
• Strong team orientation and flexibility to assist in different classrooms as needed
• Reliable transportation to and from the school site

Position Details:

• Assignment: 10/30/26 to 2/1/27, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
• Elementary schedule: 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM (with one 30-minute break daily)
• Responsibilities include direct student support, behavioral data collection, participation in bathroom duties, and adapting to evolving classroom assignments based on program needs
