This full-time, full-school-year contract opportunity is a backfill position within a mild/moderate special day class (SDC) setting, offering the unique chance to contribute to the growth and development of students who benefit from dedicated behavioral support.

In this role, you will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will provide ongoing supervision, allowing you to continually refine your skills and deliver effective interventions. The school environment values teamwork, communication, and professional growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential is required
  • Previous experience in elementary or school-based settings is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within school teams and follow individualized education plans
  • Experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities is valuable
  • Must be able to complete district fingerprinting and onboarding in addition to agency onboarding

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA for individual students
  • Collect, maintain, and report data on student progress and behavioral outcomes
  • Support classroom routines, promote positive behaviors, and foster inclusive environments
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistent strategies and support
  • Participate in regular supervision and team meetings as required
