Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Leon County Schools

Blazer Jobs is proud to partner with Leon County Schools in search of a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time, onsite position for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year. This role will primarily support an elementary caseload and is ideal for professionals passionate about making a direct impact in student behavior and development.

Position Details:

• Location: Tallahassee, FL

• Caseload: Elementary

• Schedule: Full-time, school-based hours

• Duration: 2025/2026 school year (renewal based on performance and district needs)

• Setting: Onsite only

Daily Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

• Assist students with behavioral challenges throughout the school day

• Collect accurate data on student behavior and progress

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success

• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with all regulations

Requirements:

• Active RBT certification preferred

• National licensure is strongly preferred, but experienced Paraprofessionals with relevant background may be considered

• Ability to pass a background check and meet all onboarding requirements of Leon County Schools

• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

Candidates who do not meet requirements will not be considered.
