Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Tallassee, Alabama

Make a meaningful impact as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting students in an elementary school setting. This contract position is designed to cover a maternity leave and offers the opportunity to work closely with young learners, fostering their growth and success during a critical part of the school year. The assignment will run from September 23rd, 2026, through January 11th, 2027, working with a dedicated team of education professionals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience providing ABA therapy or behavioral support in a school environment, specifically with elementary-aged students
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans and collecting relevant data
• Organized, patient, and adaptable to changing needs throughout the day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions to elementary school students
• Implement IEP and behavior support plans as directed by supervising BCBA
• Collect accurate data on student behaviors and interventions
• Maintain clear communication with supervising staff and families regarding student progress
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed
• Support classroom teachers with strategies to enhance positive behaviors
