Now Hiring: School Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Contract | Allentown, PA

Blazer Jobs, in partnership with a reputable school district in the Allentown, Pennsylvania area, is actively interviewing experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time, school-based contract position. Position Overview:

As a School RN, you’ll be a key part of the educational team, providing essential health services, promoting a safe school environment, and supporting students’ physical and emotional well-being—particularly those with special education needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician’s orders and school policies

• Respond to student illnesses and emergencies with appropriate care and documentation

• Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Care Plans (ECPs)

• Collaborate with special education teams to support students with disabilities

• Monitor immunization records and manage health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.)

• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations

• Educate students, families, and staff on health-related topics and chronic condition management

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania

• Must meet all local and state school health requirements and background checks

• CPR and First Aid certification required

• Experience working with special education students and families is strongly preferred

• Prior school nursing or pediatric experience is a plus
