Job Description:

BlazerJobs is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 support for a male Exceptional Children (EC) student during the summer session. The student is ventilator-dependent, though not in a wheelchair. This role requires close collaboration with an LVN, as two healthcare professionals are assigned to support the student throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and supervision to a ventilator-dependent student

• Ensure all medical equipment is monitored and functioning appropriately

• Collaborate with school staff, LVN, and advisory team to ensure student safety and support

• Ride the bus with the student, if required, which may affect working hours

Requirements:

• Active RN license in California

• Ventilator experience/training is required

• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
