Position Title: School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (with potential for renewal or permanent placement)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, School-Day Hours (No Weekends or Nights)
School Year: 2025–2026
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate | Weekly pay
Location: School-based (specific district location provided during application)
The School LPN will provide direct nursing services to students and staff during school hours. This includes managing chronic health conditions, administering medications, offering first aid and emergency care, and supporting a safe and healthy school environment.
Deliver daily nursing care, first aid, and health assessments
Dispense medications and monitor student health responses
Support students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, epilepsy)
Develop and maintain Individual Health Plans (IHPs)
Maintain accurate and confidential health records
Educate students and staff on hygiene, illness prevention, and health practices
Respond to emergencies and participate in school safety initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid LPN license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Graduate of an accredited LPN program
Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or community health
Knowledge of IEPs, 504 Plans, and IHPs
Previous work experience in an educational or school-based healthcare setting
