Basic Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license

• Valid BLS/CPR certification

• Preferred experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or community healthcare

• Willingness to comply with GaPSC and district-level regulations (certain districts may have specific onboarding criteria)

Position Overview:

• Location: Public K–12 schools across Georgia

• Schedule: Full-time and part-time roles available

• Employment Type: W-2 positions for the 2025–2026 school year

• Pay: Competitive hourly rates, paid weekly

• Contract Renewal: Based on performance and school district needs

What You'll Do as a Georgia School Nurse:

• Deliver direct care to students with acute or chronic conditions

• Keep accurate health records in accordance with state laws

• Collaborate with families, school staff, and medical professionals

• Create and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)

• Provide emergency response and health education as needed
