School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Derry, New Hampshire

Step into an essential student support role as a dedicated one-to-one RN for a high school student. This contract opportunity is available immediately and continues through June 2027, providing reliable full-time hours, Monday through Friday (35-37.5 hours weekly). As the assigned nurse, you will accompany a male high school student throughout the entirety of his school dayincluding bus transportto ensure his personal and medical needs are met with expertise and compassion.

What were looking for:

• Active RN license in good standing
• School nursing experience or similar youth-based nursing background preferred
• Previous experience providing one-to-one, individualized care is highly valued
• Confident administering emergency seizure medication (infrequent occurrences)
• Ability to assist with all aspects of personal care and hygiene
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Compassion, patience, and an understanding approach in confidential student settings
• Willingness to ride the bus to and from school with the student daily

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one support to a high school student throughout his educational day
• Administer emergency seizure medication promptly as needed
• Assist with all personal care and hygiene needs in a respectful, dignified manner
• Supervise and interact with the student during bus transportation to and from school
• Monitor health status and collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records and reports
