School Registered Nurse (RN) in Fairport, NY

Youll play a central part in guiding and supervising on-the-job learning experiences as students complete their Nurse Assisting (Nurse Aide) coursework. The schedule features convenient morning (810 am) and midday (122 pm) hours on an as-needed basis. Start date is immediate, with assignment duration to be determined based on district needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise small-group (8:1 ratio) clinical work for students in nurse assisting courses
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop meaningful clinical experiences and instructional schedules
• Act as liaison with agency personnel to coordinate and clarify clinical aspects
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress throughout clinical rotations
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Nurse Aide Teacher

Desired Qualifications:

• Eligibility for the Civil Service title of School Nurse
• Current New York State RN license
• Recent experience in long-term care or nursing home environments
• Comfort and skill working with high school students pursuing healthcare careers
