School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Grovetown, Georgia

Step into a vital role supporting students with complex healthcare needs as a Registered Nurse in a contract position within an educational setting. This full-time, onsite opportunity involves working closely with a small, manageable caseload of 510 students, providing essential medical care throughout the school day. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to implement individualized health plans and ensure each student's safety and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based nursing is highly valued
• Background working with students who have critical, complex, or medically fragile conditions
• Proficient with G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, and suctioning preferred
• Skilled in managing seizure and epilepsy protocols
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to full-time, onsite hours from 8:10 AM to 4:10 PM

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care, including G-tube feedings, trach care, suctioning, medication administration, and seizure monitoring
• Assess and respond to the needs of students with complex medical conditions
• Serve as a point of contact for families and partner with external healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Educate school staff and students on relevant health topics and emergency procedures
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment for medically fragile students
