Desired Skills & Experience:

• Active NJ School Nursing RN license (current and valid)
• Proven school-based nursing experience required
• Confidence overseeing health services district-wide and managing caseloads
• Ability to service multiple buildings and adapt to varying student health needs
• Reliable transportation and close proximity for daily commute (required)
• Willingness to complete onboarding: TB test, physical, fingerprinting for both agency and district
• Must feel comfortable engaging professionally within a school district setting
• LPN candidates are not eligible for this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students across different school sites
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications, and provide first aid as needed
• Oversee compliance with health protocols and maintain accurate student health records
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure safe and supportive learning environments
• Respond effectively to emergencies, coordinating with local healthcare resources when necessary
• Serve as a health advocate for students and a crucial resource for staff and administration

Youll enjoy a consistent, family-friendly workweek: MondayFriday, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, with no nights or weekends, through June 2027.
