School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Manchester, New Hampshire

Step into an essential and rewarding role dedicated to supporting a high school student with medical needs throughout their school day and commute. This full-time, contract opportunity runs through June 2027 and offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, averaging 35-37.5 hours each week. Youll work closely with one student, providing personalized and compassionate care, and helping them thrive in both academic and social settings.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations, particularly high school-aged individuals
• Demonstrated ability and comfort providing all personal care and hygiene assistance
• Competency in administering seizure medications (training provided, if needed)
• Reliable, patient, and empathetic approach
• Prepared to ride school transportation twice daily with the student

Primary Responsibilities:

• Offer 1:1 medical support and supervision during the entire educational day, including bus rides to and from school
• Administer emergency seizure medication and support safe management in the event of a seizure (seizures are infrequent)
• Assist with all daily living tasks, including personal care and hygiene
• Foster a respectful, secure, and encouraging environment, supporting the students emotional and physical well-being
• Effectively communicate with school staff, healthcare professionals, and the students family as needed
