School Registered Nurse (RN) in Osceola, IN

This role, located near Osceola in the South Bend, Indiana area, will have a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37 hours per week. As the dedicated school nurse, youll provide essential general nursing care, promote a healthy learning environment, and collaborate with faculty and families to support student wellness. Key Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license for the state of Indiana
• Prior experience in pediatric, public health, or school nursing preferred
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to student health concerns and emergencies
• Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
• Efficient documentation and communication abilities
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and compassion

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver general nursing duties including first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with policy and law
• Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and wellness
• Develop care plans for students with medical needs, collaborating with caregivers as needed
• Serve as a liaison between school, families, and community providers
