About the Role:

The School Nurse will play a key role in promoting student health and wellness by delivering nursing services, managing health plans, and collaborating with school staff, students, and families. You’ll help ensure a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment during the extended school year.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing services to students as required by IEPs, 504 plans, or health protocols

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation and case records

• Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers

• Support student wellness, development, and academic progress

• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal health regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred

• Experience working in school health or pediatric nursing preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
